We are seeking a Corporate Communications Specialist/Senior Communications Specialist. The Corporate Communications Specialist will be responsible for leading, distributing and assisting in content creation for Johns Manville's communication channels. This role is responsible for supporting communication initiatives and employee activities to help strengthen overall JM communications, promote brand stewardship, enhance, and improve employee communication and engagement, drive productivity, and successfully achieve company goals. Applicants can expect to make between $72,000 to $100,000 upon hire. Pay within this range will vary based upon relevant experience, skills, and education among other factors. In addition, this position is eligible for a target incentive bonus under our variable incentive plan. Your Day to Day:
Manage day-to-day content delivery on JM Connection (the company intranet). These efforts include soliciting, creating, and posting content. Topic areas will include sustainability, diversity and inclusion, community investment and other company priorities. Manage and distribute a weekly digital newsletter for Denver/Littleton employees. Support JM's social media strategy and manage content delivery on the company's social media platforms. These efforts include creating campaigns related to specific events or ongoing company initiatives. Create, manage, and support appropriate digital signage communication messages or campaigns. Manage content delivery to internal audiences through an email management platform. These efforts include designing templates, creating campaigns, and tracking analytics. Update and maintain JM.com in areas related to corporate activities, campaigns and/or initiatives. Plan or support major JM events and Denver employee events. Initiate and support special Corporate Communications campaigns that drive results related to priorities for human resources and communications and JM. Perform administrative and other duties as assigned. What You Bring to the Team:
Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 5 years of communications experience that includes at least 2 years creating content in a corporate, public relations or media (TV or newspaper) environment. Actual newsroom experience preferred Bachelor's degree in journalism or public relations preferred Excellent writing and editing skills Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written skills Working knowledge of AP Style Proven ability to develop and maintain favorable interpersonal relations Proven record of successful event planning for large (1,000+) and small groups Strong project management and organizational skills Ability to understand JM, industry, and business sensitivities Ability to multi-task and work on deadline Ability to interface at all levels of the organization, both internally and externally Ability to work independently and in a team environment Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook Proficiency with InDesign, Photoshop and SharePoint are a plus May be required to lift, carry, push, or pull up to and including 50 pounds Minimal travel may be required (0 -- 10 days per year) Working environment is typical of an office setting Incumbent must be physically able to perform essential job functions. Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
Communications & PREstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
