Position Summary Provide strategic leadership to achieve customer, public, investor and employee satisfaction. Responsible for the successful implementation of the electric capital portfolio enterprise wide. Responsible for the integration of customer reliability, engineering design, standards development, and electric grid operational management teams across all electric distribution systems. Ensures system designs are safe to operate, and grid and cybersecurity systems are maintained. Essential Responsibilities Leadership for multiple engineering groups, reliability project execution, administration of engineering and design disciplines. Responsible for resources with emphasis on safety, scope development, customer support, cost reduction/control, reliability, and compliance with regulations. Develop, approve and manage O&M and resource budgets. Responsible for assessing performance and asset management to develop reliability plans across all Operating Companies. Responsible for enterprise development of project development and execution strategies. Leads Area Engineering group including management of annual reliability activities, engagement, and design to ensure compliance with engineering requirements, DER screening and resource needs. Responsible for execution of the enterprise-level electric reliability programs. Provide ongoing communication of the organizational vision mission, key objectives and continuous improvement initiatives. Communicate with and establish effective working relationships within the organization to maximize efficiency. Responsible for building, maintaining and improving working relationships with internal/external leaders and service providers to maximize responsiveness and effective resource allocation. Responsible for developing key stakeholder relationships with Large Industrial and Commercial Customers, Community Relations, Sales, Siting & Land Rights, Customer Relations and others to deliver programs of work and support consistent with corporate initiatives and financial targets. Lead and direct the creation and update of electric material standards, construction and design standards with Safety being at the forefront of all standards. Set goals and objectives that align with the Business Unit and Corporate goals and strategies. Alignment with Sourcing to ensure alignment on material sourcing strategies and availability. Provide leadership to support the Distribution Grid Management through distribution model creation and operations support of the Electric Distribution Control Centers. Establish performance expectations. Assess complex, competitive, technical issues and develop strategies to achieve results that consider the perspective of a wide variety of stakeholders. Preparation of regulatory rate recovery filings and other jurisdictional communications regarding operations and engineering practices. Provides technical support for legal proceedings such as accidental contact cases, stray voltage and others. Minimum Requirements Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is required. Master's degree in Engineering or related field preferred. Ten years of engineering experience in the electric energy industry combined with a minimum of 5 years of management experience. Professional Engineering license is preferred. Demonstrated knowledge of codes/regulations including NEC, NESC, OSHA, land use, franchise & building codes.
Salary Range:
$100K -- $150K

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
