Position Summary Direct the management, administration, implementation of contracts for wholesale sales customers (Customers) alignment of Company goals. Responsible for developing and implementing strategy to retain and expand Customers, including negotiating new agreements or potential changes to existing wholesale agreements, regulatory and legislative initiatives. Work as the primary liaison to the executive management of Customers to address concerns and determine solutions and represent the Company in industry forums and with wholesale customers. Essential Responsibilities 1) Develop and implement strategies to retain and expand Customer loads in Colorado Negotiate power supply agreements as necessary to address customer needs. Coordinate with Executive Management on strategic initiatives affecting existing or prospective customers and provide leadership to ensure successful cross-departmental alignment and implementation. 2) Work closely with Executive Management, Commercial Operations, Revenue Requirements, State and Federal Regulatory Affairs, and Government Affairs to identify solutions to address customers' needs as the resource mix and regulatory initiatives evolve in Colorado and the Company participates in organized markets. 3) Develop, coordinate, and provide direction for long-term proposals and resulting transactions for existing and prospective Customers. Review and analyze existing Customer Agreements and identify gaps, inconsistencies, or improvements for the interests of the Company and negotiate changes. 4) Provide subject matter expertise on Customer Agreements and areas of the Open Access Transmission Tariff affecting wholesale customers to wholesale customers and across the Company. Collaborate with Federal Regulatory Affairs, Revenue Requirements, and Legal on applicable Federal Energy Regulatory Commission filings affecting wholesale customers. 5) Provide direction and subject matter expertise on Customer Agreements, areas of the OATT affecting wholesale customers and on the Company wholesale markets strategy. Collaborate with Commercial Operations, Market Operations, Federal Regulatory Affairs, Revenue Requirements, and Legal on applicable FERC filings, state filings, and other industry committees affecting wholesale customers and Western wholesale markets policy. 6) Initiate, develop, and maintain relationships with other utilities, suppliers, power marketers, and other companies. Identify and analyse customers and competitors strategies, needs and plans to create and develop market and competitive intelligence and market plans for new wholesale sales and services. 7) Originate, lead and direct interdisciplinary teams to provide and implement customized energy solutions to wholesale customers to bring added value to their purchases from Xcel Energy. Minimum Requirements Bachelor's degree in Business or Engineering or related discipline and five years related energy or electric utility experience industry working on detailed technical matters, legislative and/or regulatory issues, or administering contracts. Minimum five years experience in customer marketing/ customer relationship management. Must possess advanced knowledge of wholesale customer tariffs, applicable agreements, and various services that can be provided to wholesale customers. Strong understanding of customers, wholesale market dynamics, and requirements. Willingness to travel within market area. Telecommuting Policy:
