Pipeline Project Manager (Oil & Gas) for a Denver, CO area client.
This position manages TEAMS of ENGINEERS, not construction
This position requires prior Pipeline Design Engineering experience!
The individual must have:
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
Typically requires 7 or more years of progressive responsibility in engineering and must have pipeline line experience.
Typically requires 3 to 4 years as senior or lead role on projects.
Must have in-depth knowledge of engineering theories and principles.
Must have experience in Pipeline Design Engineering
Proficiency in use of Excel and other Microsoft Office products.
Requires broad knowledge of at least one technical/functional area.
Ability to find solutions derived from available resources provided internally and/or externally, including policies and procedures.
Experience in oil, gas or crude for an Engineering Company, not an operating company
The candidate must be authorized to work in the USA without any sponsorship (US citizen or US Green Card Permanent Resident)
Salary is generous (depending on experience).
The Pipeline Project Manager has responsibility for financial and technical success of the project. Typically manages single mid-size to large simple projects; Responsible for the daily administration of project and/or company policies and processes in order for the projects team to meet business objectives.

Responsible for all phases of planning and execution on large sized pipeline engineering projects.
Plans, organizes, coordinates, and controls projects in accordance with established policies, procedures, systems and requirements approved by the company.
May have responsibility for management and contract performance on two or more smaller projects.
May serve as the proposal manager for major project proposals.
Supervises project personnel through subordinate leaders.
Completes other duties, as assigned.

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
