Responsibilities:
Prepare the monthly, quarterly, and annual budget and rolling forecastsReview monthly departmental accruals and invoices, as well as quarterly purchase order requestsInterpret and analyze the monthly financial performance and support accounting month-end close activitiesBuild and maintain weekly and monthly models for key operational and financial performance metrics, including KPI scorecardsCreate and deliver financial presentations to leadership with recommended financial implications of proposed decisionsConduct project reviews with financial oversightLeverage understanding of financial modeling, and a hypothesis-based approach to identify, validate and quantify multi-year agreementsDemonstrate aptitude for critical thinking in complex situations with the ability to synthesize ambiguous data into concrete resultsProduce clear, well-formatted reports that communicate a clear, compelling message for the businessPerform ad-hoc analysis related to cost-savings opportunities and other corporate initiativesActs as steward of financial accuracy and data integritySkills, Experience and RequirementsEducation and
Experience:
Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, or related fieldMBA or Masters in Accounting or Finance is a plus but not required7
years experience in accounting and finance positions preferably in consumer-focused wireless, high-tech (software, internet/new media, ecomm, entertainment/content, etc.) or consumer electronics industriesSkills and
Qualifications:
Advanced skills in Google Sheets or MS ExcelProficiency with financial tools (e.g., Orbit, Oracle)Understanding of business financial and accounting concepts (Accruals, Reversal, GAAP principles, etc.)Intellectual curiosity, outstanding problem solving and strong analytical skills with the ability to seek, organize, analyze, and draw valid conclusions with attention to detail and accuracyStrong interpersonal skills, well-developed oral and written presentation skills, with the ability to summarize complex concepts into understandable and easy-to-follow presentation materials to communicate effectively with senior executivesCollaborative; willing to roll up their sleeves with the team and get close to the detailsChange agent and motivator able to achieve alignment to a shared visionHighly organized and accountableStrategic and operational; able to think through strategic challenges and build ground-up solutionsSalary RangesCompensation:
