DEN HR RECRUITER

Performs recruitment and Human Resources related duties at the DEN site level and may carry out responsibilities in some additional functional areas of Human Resources.


Essential Duties


  • Develop and implement a recruitment plan targeted to reach and maintain staffing goals.
  • Create, and maintain, an active database of community-based organizations able to assist CAS in identifying qualified candidates.
  • Build, and maintain, relationships with community-based organizations, including regular off-site meetings and interaction with community members and organizations.
  • Assist in portraying the company's image as an employer of choice in the security field through job fairs and community events, etc.
  • Research and recommend new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting.
  • Develop and maintain alternate recruitment sources in order to attract more qualified candidates for open positions within the organization.
  • Posts job openings to sites, including social media and professional organizations.
  • Work with the Applicant Tracking System to create prescreening questions, review candidates, and improve time to fill.
  • Reviews applicants to evaluate if they meet the position requirements.
  • Conduct prescreening interviews.
  • Efficiently and effectively fills open positions with assistance from operations managers.
  • Maintain resume database in order to track qualified candidates for open positions within the site.
  • Assist in the new hire/onboarding processing, including pre-employment screenings, background checks, Denver Security Guard licensing, employment verifications, offer letters, etc.
  • Coordinate and facilitate new hire orientation.
  • Work closely with hiring managers to continually improve the quality of hire.
  • Conducts regular follow-up with Corporate Human Resources and onsite managers to determine the effectiveness of recruiting plans and implementation.
  • Stay apprised of local competition in recruiting.
  • Conduct frequent local salary, wage, and benefit surveys for various positions at DEN.
  • Prepare weekly recruiting reports and forward to the appropriate managers.
  • Administer and track exit interviews.
  • Maintain general knowledge of Data Entry responsibilities to act as a backup to this position when needed.
  • Assist with other areas of HR, as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements


  • Associate degree, or higher, in Human Resources or related field is preferred.
  • 2
    years of recruiting and/or Human Resource experience is required.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and HR operations.
  • Experience using a Human Resources Information System (HRIS) is required.
  • Must be willing to submit to, and pass, company preemployment background check and DEN Airport badging process.
  • HR certification is preferred.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours, to include evenings and weekends, as necessary.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
