Our ultimate goal is to enable energy savings for our customers.

Develop and implement a comprehensive software and hardware engineering strategy aligned with the company's vision and objectives.
Provide strong leadership and mentorship to the engineering and IT teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Set clear goals, define KPIs, and establish performance metrics to measure the effectiveness and efficiency of the engineering and IT teams.
Scaling Software Engineering Teams:
Lead the growth and expansion of software engineering teams, ensuring the recruitment and retention of top talent.
Implement best practices for team structure, skill development, and talent acquisition to scale the engineering organization efficiently.
Foster an inclusive and diverse work environment that promotes creativity and fosters professional growth among team members.
Technical Excellence:
Oversee the design, development, and deployment of high-quality enterprise B2B software products, data science solutions, hardware, and firmware.
Drive the adoption of modern software development practices, tools, and methodologies to enhance productivity and product quality.
Ensure adherence to coding standards, architectural guidelines, and security practices throughout the development lifecycle.
Advocate for and oversee the implementation of modern IT and cybersecurity infrastructure.
Collaboration and Communication:
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including Product Management, Design, and business leadership across the organization, to deliver integrated and seamless solutions in custom-built products and enterprise applications.
Build-partner-buy experiences are critical.
Communicate technical strategies, progress, and challenges to executive leadership and stakeholders clearly and concisely.
International Team Management:
Manage geographically dispersed software engineering and IT teams, fostering collaboration and cohesion across different locations and time zones.
Develop strategies to leverage international teams' diverse talents and expertise to drive innovation and excellence.
Scale and develop talent across the respective regionsRequirements/QualificationsProven experience (at least 20 years) in leading and scaling software engineering teams of 50
engineers.
Significant experience building enterprise B2B software platforms and applications.
B2B marketplace development would be a plus Deep knowledge of IT, software development, DevOps, QA, data science, hardware, and firmware technologies.
Demonstrated expertise in implementing modern software development practices and Agile methodologies.
Previous experience in data-driven decision-making and utilizing metrics to drive team performance.
Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a track record of successful project delivery.
Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve common goals.
Experience working in an international setting and managing geographically distributed teams.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field (advanced degree preferred).
Expertise in AWS infrastructure, metering technologies, IOT, and energy modeling are a plus.
