We are currently seeking an Association Services Representative to provide superior customer service to members/customers, as well as support multiple AWWA business lines.
Position Objective/General Purpose Respond to internal and external customers or members through mail, fax, phone, online, and in person to provide a superior customer service experience to attract and retain members.
Perform clerical duties such as data entry, answering phone calls, filing, preparing reports, and outgoing communication.
Essential Job Functions Provide customer service assistance internally and externally for membership, publication sales, meeting registration, subscriptions, archival document retrieval and delivery, and online job posting service Provide document delivery service for out-of-print materials Monitor and assist with small customer accounts as necessary Perform extensive alpha and numeric data entry including but not limited to order entry with attention to details.
Respond to phone calls and emails to resolve problems, provide information, and recruit new members as applicable Maintain and update membership records and benefits Administer conference, seminar, and workshop records; provide onsite registration and bookstore services and support at conferences as assigned Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned including but not limited to:
Work overtime with little or no notice as needed Attend team meetings, phone conferences, and training as needed Know, understand, and follow employee guidelines, employment policies, and department or company procedures Consistent, regular, punctual attendance as scheduled is an essential responsibility of this position.
Job Qualifications Education, Certification or Formal Training:
High school diploma or equivalent required Work Experience :
Minimum of one year's general office experience required Minimum of one year's customer service experience strongly preferred Proficiency in MS Word and Outlook required; basic proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Demonstrated commitment to customer service; proactively communicate and respond promptly to needs Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communications skills including ability to listen attentively and to communicate information clearly and effectively Demonstrated ability to work well with cross-functional groups Demonstrated interpersonal, collaborative, and relationship-building skills; ability to interact positively with employees at all levels across the company Approachable and open Demonstrated professionalism and courtesy in responding to phone calls and emails Self-directed; able to work independently and as a member of a team and to foster a positive work environment Demonstrated strengths in organizational, attention-to-detail, follow-through, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills COMPENSATION & BENEFITS Pay is targeted between $24 and $24.
50 / hour depending on experience and is paired with a comprehensive benefits package that includes:

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
