Overview Summit Materials is looking for an HR Representative to be a key member of the HR Operations team.
This is a centralized role with data entry responsibility and assists with employee onboarding.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate a sense of urgency, attention to detail, and timely and accurate follow-through.
Understand the nature of the repetition of the work and create efficiencies in processing.
Must maintain confidentiality and protection of sensitive records and data.
Roles & Responsibilities Complete employee data entry and maintenance within the HCM system - new hires, transfers, promotions, terminations, etc.
Assist with the new hire on-boarding process Provide support and guidance to managers and employees on HR policies and practices Prepare employee activity volume reports Supports the implementation of new HR tools and systems Other HR-related duties as assigned Skills & Experience Minimum 1 year of experience in Human Resources Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred Ability to comprehend, and apply the appropriate sections of applicable laws, guidelines, regulations, and policies Must be a team player & able to work collaboratively and effectively with HR and other functions of the organization on cross-company initiatives Can-do attitude and passion for new processes and solutions Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty and ambiguity Able to manage multiple issues, prioritize, and problem solve Proficient Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access) or related software Strong internal and external communicator verbal and written communication skills; interpersonal and customer service skills; organizational skills and attention to detail.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
