95 an hour 9 days ago 9 days ago 9 days ago Nature of Work Northglenn Arts/Parsons Theatre is seeking an energetic, courteous, customer-focused, hospitality driven individual to fill a part-time.
10-19 hours a week position, on our Patron Services/Box Office Team.
This role will focus on providing exceptional service to all patrons of Northglenn Arts and the Parsons Theatre performing ticket sales, class registrations, theatre rental assistance and patron assistance both over the phone and in person.
Works closely with and supervised by the Patron Experience Coordinator.
Duties and Responsibilities Delivers prompt and professional solutions to both external and internal inquiries through face-to-face, phone, and email interactions.
Inquiries will focus on the services, programs, and activities offered by Northglenn Arts, and occasionally the entire Parks, Recreation, and Culture Department.
Welcome and greets patrons, class participants and contractors in a timely manner, engaging and directing them, as needed.
Provides exceptional service through the development of relationships with facility users, program participants, community members, City employees, and numerous other partner organizations.
Helps with reservation requests for internal and external bookings, ticketing for Northglenn Arts, registrations for the Northglenn Youth Theatre Academy and other classes and camps within the facility.
Provides house management assistance for both Northglenn Arts shows and events as well as rental patrons.
Assists with ticketing inventory and reconciliation.
Processes a variety of financial transactions and responsible for cash drawer reconciliation.
Selling concessions and alcohol beverages during theatre performances & events and community room rentals.
Assists with inventory reconciliation of concessions items and reporting.
Assists with front of house reporting for theatre performances and events.
Assists with outdoor events hosted by the Northglenn Arts Department.
Performs light custodial work, when needed.
Education and Experience High school diploma or equivalent.
One or more years of previous customer service and/or hospitality experience.
Current certification in Community CPR/AED/First Aid or ability to obtain within 3 months of hire.
Current certification in TiPs responsible server alcohol training or willing to obtain within 3 months of hire.
Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office, RecTrac Software and Audience View Ticketing software preferred.
Supplemental Information Selected candidate will be required to complete and pass a background investigation and drug screen.
The schedule for this position requires flexibility.
Hours will vary on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
Evenings during the week may be required at various times to support department needs.
Duties may require standing, walking, and sitting for long periods; handling and operating objects and equipment, reaching outward and above shoulders to carry, pull, push, or lift up to 50 pounds unassisted Hiring Range:
