3K a year 1 day ago 1 day ago 1 day ago Position Summary The Human Resources Assistant is responsible for effective execution of HR support functions for multiple site locations within the West Division and supporting the HR department with responsibilities including administration, processes, and systems.
This position will maintain HR information ensuring complete confidentiality, accuracy, timeliness and compliance with federal and state employment related laws and regulations.
This position will work in partnership with other HR members and people leaders and will support HR's initiative in providing exemplary customer service.
Responsibilities Process and enter employee data changes in HRIS Respond to routine inquiries in a timely manner while maintaining appropriate standards of confidentiality, discretion, and privacy Provides general HR administrative support and requests for information.
Generate and compile HR related reports Review new hire paperwork for accuracy and compliance with I-9 and other legal requirements Facilitate new employee orientation activities Provide support with unemployment claim process Assist with training and development activities Maintain thorough knowledge of Martin Marietta employment policies and procedures, benefit plans, payroll, HR related forms, and key contact information for corporate partners and HR vendors Perform a wide variety of other administrative duties in support of the HR team and function as needed Minimum Education and Experience High School Diploma or equivalent experience required Two or more years of experience in Human Resources Bilingual (Spanish) skills a plus Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint Experience HR Systems such as Workday, JDE, UKG and PeopleDoc preferred Excellent organizational and time management skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks when there are multiple and conflicting demands Must be able to meet deadlines.
Must be highly skilled at multitasking and able to handle interruptions Proven verbal and written communication skills with managers and employees at all levels of the organization Ability to work effectively/proactively by taking initiative Must be a resourceful problem solver Must be able to work in a collaborative, service oriented, and fast-paced environment.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
