Senior Technical Accountant

What You Will Do:
Perform research on technical accounting issues, including initial preparation of related memoranda that ensures appropriate accounting presentation.
Support timely close process, as it relates to technical accounting, and gather and compile all supporting schedules and reports that flow into various reports.
Maintain single source of supporting documentation for efficient review by external audit and other reviewers.
Collaborate with Technical Accounting Supervisor in accounting policy creation, updates, and review, discerning the accurate application of GAAP.
Responsible for research and analysis of complex accounting and regulatory reporting projects under the guidance of Technical Accounting Supervisor.
Tracking and reporting on all stock compensation plans and related accounting treatment, including, but not limited to grants, exercises, forfeitures for option and restricted stock plans.
Responsible for the preparation of monthly accounting entries and reconciliations related to investments, derivatives, leases, swaps, reserves (including CECL) and other complex accounting.
Research variances and respond to inquiries related to monthly technical accounting entries and reconciliations Work on special projects as they arise and actively participate in initiating and implementing process improvements.
Act as resource for other accounting activities as assigned.
Know and comply with all Company policies set forth on the Company's Intranet; Review Associate Handbook and Company Policies annually, as prescribed by Human Capital; Complete and Comply with the Companies Code of Ethics and Conflict of Interest Questionnaire and Policy Acknowledgement; Complete all assigned training on time.

What You Bring:
Expert knowledge of Excel, advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.
Great Plains (Dynamics GP) experience preferred.
Knowledge of GAAP and direct experience with SEC or Bank Regulatory filings preferred.
Strong communications skills and effective time and deadline management skills a must.
Education Level Education Details Required/PreferredBachelor's Degree, Accounting Required Master's Degree, Accounting Preferred Experience Level Experience Details Required/Preferred1-3 years, Combined experience between public accounting and external reporting for a publicly traded company.
Required 1-3 years, Financial services industry experience.

Pay Range:
