Responsibilities:
- Clean, disinfect, and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment using appropriate techniques and solutions - Assemble instrument trays and surgical sets according to established protocols - Inspect instruments for damage or defects and report any issues to the supervisor - Maintain accurate records of all processed instruments and equipment - Follow proper aseptic technique to prevent contamination during the sterilization process - Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure timely availability of sterile instruments for surgical procedures - Adhere to safety guidelines and infection control protocols at all times Requirements:
- Prior experience as a Sterile Processing Technician or related role is preferred - Knowledge of sterile processing techniques and procedures - Familiarity with aseptic technique and infection control practices - Understanding of human anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Note:
