As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) Intern at Snowflake, you will have the opportunity to be an integral part of our fast-paced sales team.
You will work closely with experienced SDRs and SDR Managers to develop critical sales skills and support our lead generation efforts.
This internship is an excellent stepping stone for individuals interested in pursuing a career in sales, business development, or technology-related fields.
Throughout the internship, you will gain hands-on experience, learn best practices in sales, and play a vital role in expanding Snowflake's customer base, in addition to gaining an understanding of how B2B companies build and expand.

Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the Sales Development team to identify and qualify potential leads and prospects within the target market.
Conduct outbound prospecting activities through cold calling, email campaigns, and social media to initiate conversations with potential customers.
Articulate the value proposition of Snowflake's data cloud platform to potential clients, generating interest and setting up introductory meetings for the sales team.
Leverage sales tools and technologies to track and manage prospecting activities, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records in the CRM system.
Research and gather information on potential customers, understanding their business needs and challenges to customize outreach strategies effectively.
Learn and adapt to various sales methodologies, refining your communication and persuasion skills.
Collaborate with marketing teams to support campaigns and promotions, ensuring consistent messaging across all channels.
Engage in regular training sessions to enhance product knowledge, industry trends, and sales techniques.
Provide feedback to the sales team and contribute ideas to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the sales development process.
REQUIREMENTS:
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with an ability to engage prospects and clients professionally.
Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly and effectively.
High problem-solving ability to learn quickly in a dynamic environment with a demonstration of organizing and working with data A high-energy self-starter with a proactive attitude and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Interest in technology and a willingness to learn about Snowflake's data cloud platform and the data industry.
Prior experience in sales, customer service, or related fields is a plus but not required.
Proficiency in using standard office tools and familiarity with CRM systems is advantageous.
If currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program, you are in your Junior or Senior year.

Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Snowflake's bonus and equity plan.
