Tech Lead (Sr. Java Developer) 100% Remote
Project Scope:
This will be a Tech Lead resource who will not be doing most of the hands-on development; will be leading 10-15 team members and providing consulting for development and design on projects (up to 30% of the job will be doing development work)Must have:
-Working knowledge in JavaScript, Apache Groovy, and SQL required.
-Will need to have leadership skills to play Tech Lead for our SMS Communications (approx.
10-15 team members)-Strong communication skills and able to lead development teamso Various Domain experience; Health Care, Financial, etc.
o Experience using Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologyo Specific tools, languages and specialty skills may varyREQUIREMENTS:
o Experience with unit testing, release procedures, coding design and documentation protocol as well as change management procedureso Proficiency using versioning tools:
GIT, GNU, RCS, SCCS, CVS, SVN, Mercurial, Monotone, etco Demonstrated organizational, analytical and interpersonal skillso Flexible team playero Ability to manage tasks independently and take ownership of responsibilitieso Ability to learn from mistakes and apply constructive feedback to improve performanceo Must demonstrate initiative and effective independent decision-making skillso Ability to communicate technical information clearly and articulatelyo Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environmento In-depth understanding of the systems development life cycleo Proficiency programming in more than one object-oriented programming language; JAVA, JavaScript, Python, C#, C++, and PHPo Experience with HTML and Frameworks such as; React.
