Job Summary Under minimal supervision, performs permanently assigned lead work over addiction counselors. Provides clinical supervision to addiction counselors. Reviews and checks client charts/paperwork. Conducts individual and group counseling sessions to develop and implement client service plans. Minimum
Qualifications Education: Graduation from a high school diploma or GED required. BA / BS Preferred.
Experience: Typically, two years experience as Counselor Addictions III.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Knowledge of safety and infection control requirements. Knowledge of State and Federal and Agency mandated documentation. Knowledge of human behavior and performance. Knowledge of supervisory principles and practices. Skill in logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems. Provide personal assistance emotional support or other personal care to patients. Ability to maintain confidentiality of records relating to clients' treatment.
Certificate/License/Registration: CAC III certificate issued by Department of Regulatory Agencies.
