Provides diagnostic evaluations & subsequent brief focused psychotherapy utilizing individual, family, marital, group supervises the clinical work of unlicensed Mental Health Professionals as requested. The job title & salary range will be commensurate based on individual qualifications. Makes members/patients & their needs a primary focus of one''s actions; develops & sustains productive member/patient relationships. Actively seeks information to understand member/patient circumstances, problems, expectations, & needs. Builds rapport & cooperative relationship w/ members/patients. Considers how actions or plans will affect members; responds quickly to meet member/patient needs & resolves problems.
Essential Functions: - The duties vary based on in-patient and/or outpatient assignment - Evaluates & provides therapeutic intervention for patients requesting mental health services utilizing short-term solution oriented individual, marital, family, and/or group psychotherapy, and/or biofeedback, using verbal communication & testing skills - Communicates effectively w/ outside agencies regarding treatment plans for referring agencies and/or outside providers; this may include preparation of written clinical reports and/or consultations - Provides crisis intervention services as needed; determines appropriateness of hospitalization; assesses patient's potential for lethality, using verbal communication when interfacing w/ patients and/or community agencies - Must be able to sit majority of day during patient evaluation & psychotherapy sessions - In addition to defined technical requirements, accountable for consistently demonstrating service behaviors & principles defined by the KP Service Quality Credo, the KP Mission as well as specific departmental/organizational initiatives - Also accountable for consistently demonstrating the knowledge, skills, abilities, & behaviors necessary to provide superior & culturally sensitive service to each other, to our members, & to purchasers, contracted providers & vendors - Supports compliance & Kaiser Permanent's Code of Conduct by adhering to federal & state laws & regulations, accreditation & license requirements, by policies & procedures - Responds appropriately to observed fraud & abuse
Qualifications: Basic
Qualifications: - Masters or doctoral degree or its equivalent (as determined by the board). - Any one of the following four (4) credentials will be acceptable. The job title and pay rate will be assigned at time of hire based on credential: - 2 years post masters or 1 year of post-doctoral practice experience under appropriate supervision in applied Psychotherapy or Marriage & Family Therapy w/ Colorado licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist or Licensed Professional Counselor. - OR masters degree in psychiatric nursing w/ Colorado RN license and 1 year of psychotherapy experience. - OR Ph.D/Psy.D degree in psychology w/ completed clinical internship. - OR licensed as a Psychologist in the State of Colorado. - For in-patient assignments - applicants must possess qualifications to be credentialed at an inpatient facility. - National Provider Identifier (NPI) & Taxonomy code required at time of hire.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
