JOB SUMMARY
Schneider Electric Engineering

is seeking an experienced Power System Engineer to join a high performing team responsible for design consulting services focused primarily on MV/LV power distribution, substations, and advanced switchgear controls for the industrial, infrastructure, and critical power sectors.
SKILLS
Work effectively within a team
Strong oral and written communication skills
Ability to build client confidence as a trusted advisor
Able to manage and prioritize multiple projects
Manage scope, schedule, and cost on projects
Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office suite
Experience with Microstation, Revit, Sag10, SKM, ETAP desirable
BSEE or MSEE with power focus preferred
Registered Professional Engineer
10 years of experience in medium and low-voltage power system specification, design and analysis.
- Knowledge of switchgear, motor control, power transformers and cables, emergency power and UPS systems, protective relaying, equipment and system grounding, lightning protection, and utility interconnection requirements.
- Experience performing short circuit, coordination, load flow and arc flash studies.
